Punjab Industry Minister Mr. Sanjeev Arora today visited Abohar to pay homage at the condolence ceremony of renowned trader Sanjay Verma. He offered floral tributes and expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Arora said that the Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, stands firmly with the family during this difficult time and will continue to support them in every possible way. He added that the large gathering of people clearly reflects the goodwill and respect the Verma family has earned in society.
Mr. Arora strongly condemned the heinous crime and assured that strict action will be taken against all those involved. He stated that multiple police teams are actively investigating the case and have been given strict directions to ensure the accused are brought to justice at the earliest. He emphasized that all perpetrators will soon be arrested and awarded the strictest punishment under the law.
Reaffirming the Punjab government’s firm stance, he said that the government has a zero tolerance policy against gangsterism and criminal elements will not be spared under any circumstances.
He further noted that this moment is not for political statements, but a time for all to come together in support of the grieving family.
