Shivalik Public School, Sector-78, Mohali, celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas with great fervour and patriotism to honour the bravery and sacrifice of the Indian soldiers who laid down their lives during the Kargil War. The occasion served as a poignant reminder of the immense sacrifices made by our brave hearts in safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty.
A special assembly was organized, featuring a heartfelt speech by Jivika of Class VIII that highlighted the valour of our armed forces and the significance of the day. A soulful patriotic song remembering the heroes of Kargil resonated through the campus, igniting a spirit of patriotism among all present. A short play staged by the students of Grade VII vividly depicted the courage, resilience, and sacrifice of the soldiers, leaving the audience deeply moved and inspired.
