Google is shutting down its Android Auto mobile app

Google has confirmed it is shutting down the standalone 'Android Auto for Phone Screens' app with Android 12, media reports said.

Instead anyone who wants a driving-friendly interface for their Android phone should use the Google Assistant driving mode, which is available within Google Maps, or the native Android Auto interface available in select cars, reports The Verge.

GSLV failure to have an impact on India's human space mission

The failure of Indian rocket Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle-F10s (GSLV-F10) cryogenic engine midway during a mission on Thursday will have its impact on India's ambitious moon mission.


India presently has three fully operational rockets -- the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) and two GSLV variants - GSLV-Mk II with a carrying capacity of 2.5 tonnes and GSLV-MkIII with a payload capacity of four tonnes.

Only fully vaccinated staff to attend schools

 In order to ensure that the Covid situation remains under control and the deadly virus could not spread again in the state, the Chief Secretary, Ms Vini Mahajan, directed the departments concerned to step up RT-PCR testing and to conduct atleast 10,000 RT-PCR tests related to schools daily and the DCs to ensure that only fully vaccinated teaching and non-teaching staff was allowed to attend the schools.
