Punjab PWD Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO inaugurated

The Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhagwant Singh Mann is fully committed to provide transparent administration to the people of Punjab. The government has declared war on corruption. We will not tolerate corruption in any government office.
This view was expressed by Punjab PWD and Power Minister Shri Harbhajan Singh ETO while addressing a gathering at the railway gates of Morinda on the occasion of inauguration of 450 m long underbridge at a cost of over Rs. 22 crore. He said that the government has adopted a policy of zero tolerance against corruption and zero means zero and therefore no corrupt minister, official or legislator will be spared for any corruption . This underbridge has been constructed with the participation of 50% stake of Railway Department and is dedicated to the people. The construction of this underbridge will also increase the trade and employment of the people. On this occasion he announced that all the demands related to PWD and power department which would be brought to him by MLA Dr. Charanjit Singh, would be accepted immediately as the government has given special importance to the constituency of Shri Chamkaur Sahib. The government is trying to give a place of religious and historical importance to Shri Chamkaur Sahib. He said that the government of Aam Aadmi Party is taking decisions in the interest of the people and will take such decisions in future. He said that the process of giving 25000 jobs has started.Shri Harbhajan Singh ETO congratulated the officers and employees of various departments for preparing this underbridge ahead of time and dedicating it to the people.
Earlier, while talking to local journalists, Shri Harbhajan Singh ETO asked a question that there was no Minister / MLA from the government at the funeral of Sidhu Musewala?. In reply, he said that the government is fully involved in the grief of the family and the murderers will be arrested soon and sent behind bars. . He said that law and order situation in Punjab is under complete control. In response to a question regarding the construction of a bridge at Bella on the river Sutlej, Mr. Harbhajan Singh said that the government would expedite the project. Speaking on the occasion, MLA Dr. Charanjit Singh said that the former Chief Minister has always played tricks on this bridge as no land has been acquired by the government.
