Morinda, 27 February ( Bhatoa)

In Ukraine Two of the three medical students from Morinda, have arrived in camps in Poland. Disclosing this, Raj Amarjit Singh, father of student Yugveer Singh, said that his son had safely left Ukraine and reached camps in Poland. There he was contacted. Yugveer Singh said that the Poland government has written toll free numbers for students to talk to their families at various places and now they feel safe in the Poland camp. Similarly, news of the arrival of Lovepreet Kaur daughter Daljit Singh in Poland around 4 pm today has been received from her family. Both students said they now feel much safer. Talking to his father, Yugveer Singh said that there was a lot of traffic jam on the Poland border with Ukraine. The traffic was light at this time of night because many students were frightened and entered the wrong lanes. Because private vehicles were to be used in many lanes, taxis and other vehicles in many lanes had entered each other's lanes. This took a long time to complete the security clearance. In this regard, when Mukesh Kumar's father Ram Pravesh was contacted, he said that curfew has been imposed in Kiev. Some of Mukesh Kumar's friends had gone to Poland. But due to a major traffic jam, they returned to their destination. He said that now his son along with his companions would go to the Hungarian border by a bus after the curfew was lifted tomorrow. He said his son was living with a friend in the war-torn region of Kiev. He did not hear any bombs there yesterday. They feel safe. Now they will leave for the Hungarian border. The Hungarian border is 690 km away from where they live while the Poland border is 870 km away. Overall, the parents of the Morinda students have received good news and hope that their children will soon be able to move to their home or other safe place.
