Sanjhe Mulajam Manch protested by tearing the old pension letter and throwing it on the garbage heap

Sanjha Mulajam Munch Punjab and U.T. Today, they held a massive rally in Sector-17 and expressed their protest by tearing the copies of the notification issued by the government on 18 November 2022 regarding restoration of old pension and throwing them in garbage. Convenor, co-convener and office-bearers of the Sanjha Mulajam Munch  in Chandigarh, Davinder Singh Banipal, Jasminder Singh, Sandeep Singh Brar, Ram Dhaliwal and Sukhchain Singh while addressing the press said that the notification issued by the government is not appropriate and this notification is only Nothing more than a mere written assurance. He said that the AAP government of Punjab issued this letter during the Gujarat elections and deliberately issued the notification without amending the CSR rules and without mentioning the detailed pension policy. He expressed surprise that no date has been mentioned in this letter from when it is to be implemented. Spokesmen demanded that the government should complete the necessary amendments regarding the restoration of old pension before the Gujarat elections and issue a notification in accordance with the rules, which can benefit the employees recruited after 2004. Along with the Directorates, employees of the Punjab Civil Secretariat also participated in this protest. Jaspreet Singh Randhawa, Mithun Chawla, Sushil Fauji, Inderpal Singh Bhangu and Sandeep on behalf of the Secretariat's employee associations said that the government should not consider the employees as fools because they are the ones who draft the daily rules and know what the necessary procedures for issuing the notification. They demanded from the government whether to restore the Pension as per old pension, the option of 15 percent increase in pay commission from the date of promotion to the employees recruited after 2016, 6th Pay Commission of Punjab in place of the 7th Pay Commission of the Centre. With immediate effect, the license fee of Government Houses of Punjab Government should be recovered as per the fixed rates prescribed by UT, Government of Haryana or Central Government instead of 5% and the letter dated 15.1.15 should be withdrawn and regarding Dearness Allowance. The issued letter should be amended by indicating the dates of payment of dearness allowance installments.
