66th Vishal Kushti Dangal concluded with grandeur

The 66th "Vishal Kushti Dangal" organized by Gugga Maidi Zahar Veer Managing Committee (Regd:), Village Daddu Majra, Chandigarh and the residents of the entire town, ended yesterday with a bang. About 150 wrestlers from various states including Punjab participated in this wrestling tournament organized at Dronacharya Khel Stadium in the village on Sunday, August 21, 2022.
Meanwhile, Gugga Maidi Zahar Veer Managing Committee President Chaudhry Jai Prakash and members Subhash Rana, Kuldeep Dhiman and Hem Pal said that in this wrestling match organized by the committee on August 21, the first prize of "Jhandi di Kushti" was Rs. 1.0 lakh. The wrestlers Prince Kohali and Bhola Kansani had a close match and the match ended in a draw. Both the wrestlers were jointly declared the winners by the committee. He said that earlier on August 20, a match was held between many other wrestlers. On this occasion, the wrestling lovers who arrived in large numbers enjoyed this wrestling match very much.
On this occasion, special arrangements were made by all the committee members of the Wrestling Dangal Committee for the sportsmen who came to the fair and a lot of langar was served. Apart from this, in the religious programs that lasted for three days, different religious groups presented religious programs and demonstrated their art and enchanted the residents of the area.
On this occasion SHO Maloya, area councilor Kuldeep Tita, former Sarpanch Tarsem Pal Rana, renowned village personality Dalwinder Singh Saini etc. were specially present.
