The Education Minister Mr. Pargat Singh today commenced a series of marathon meetings at the Punjab Bhawan, Chandigarh with the teachers as well as other stakeholders associated with the department to give a patient hearing to their demands, grievances and other issues to ensure their early resolution.The representatives of as many as 30 unions connected to the employees of the different cadres of the education department besides those related to the ongoing recruitments and the unemployed, have been extended an invitation.(advt52)
The meeting is also being attended by the Secretary Education Ajoy Sharma, DPI (Secondary Education) Sukhjit Pal Singh and DPI (Elementary Education) Harinder Kaur who are being directed by the Education Minister to address the various demands on the spot itself.(advt53)
