For the last several days, there has been a political debate over government schools in Punjab versus government schools in Delhi. A few days back, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had joined the ongoing teachers' dharna in Mohali. To turn the tide, Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu today staged a protest outside the residence of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by the guest teachers. Where he targeted Kejriwal in his own way. He tweeted and asked Kejriwal that in 2015 you had promised in your manifesto 8 lakh jobs and 20 new colleges. He asked where the jobs and colleges were. Contrary to your failed guarantees, you have given only 440 jobs in Delhi while unemployment in Delhi has increased 5 times in the last 5 years. He further said that in 2015 there were 12515 vacancies for teachers in Delhi and in 2021 there are 19,960 vacancies for teachers.
