District level Yoga Olympiad was organized today at Government Senior Secondary School, Khuaspur Hiran, in which 64 winning students from different zones of the district participated. Addressing the award function on the occasion, Gursharan Singh, District Education Officer (SE) Hoshiarpur said that Yoga is very beneficial for the personality and health of the students in today's time and the enthusiasm of the students participating in this Olympiad is commendable. It is a compliment for which the teachers and heads of the respective schools deserve congratulations. He distributed prizes to the winners of the competition. He was accompanied by Rakesh Kumar, Deputy District Education Officer (SE) and Daljit Singh D. M. Sports. Principal Ramandeep Kaur welcomed the guests. Prabhjot Singh, Naresh Kumar, Rekha Rani, Gurdeep Kaur, Reena Rani, Sharanjit Kaur were present in the judging panel. In Under 14 (Girls)  Chahat GSSS Harse Kalota stood first and Moninder Kaur Saila Khurd stood second while Aarti Thakur GGSS Sector 3 Talwara secured the third position. In Under 14 (Boys) Diljot GSSS Boda stood first, Harman Choudhary GSSS Datarpur stood 2nd and Rohit Sharma GHS Rajpur Gahot secured the third position. In Under 16 (Girls) category Phool Kumari GSSS Khuaspur Heera stood First, Ritu Saini GHS Rajpur Gahot stood second and Muskan GHS Harta finished third. Ranveer Kumar in Under 16 (Boys) category GSSS Khawaspur stood First, Vineet Rana GHS Birampur second and Deepak Kumar GSSS Harse Kalota finished third.

Yogeshwar Salaria District Social Media Coordinator, Balbir Singh Secretary District Tournament Committee and various BM (Sports) etc. were present.
