A conclave for the Principals of NCC affiliated institutions was held at MM Modi College, Patiala under the aegis of NCC Group HQ Patiala. Principals of 30 Colleges of Patiala, Sangrur, Barnala and Fatehgarh Saheb district, accompanied by 47 Associate NCC Officers and Care Takers attended the conclave. The event was conducted to acquaint all stake-holders, responsible for conduct of NCC training, regarding the aims, objectives and the latest training methodology of the largest youth organization in the Country and to achieve synergy in all future NCC activities to derive maximum benefit for the Young Cadets who have voluntarily opted to undergo NCC training.
The event was presided over by Group Commander, NCC Group Patiala who highlighted the importance and relevance of NCC in Nation building and the role of the Principals and training staff of the NCC affiliated institutions in achieving the aim and objectives of the organization by adopting of a proactive and synergized approach at all levels. He also apprised the attendees about the latest developments in NCC and various incentives being offered by the Govt to the NCC Cadets. He exhorted them to motivate the talented students to join NCC and derive maximum benefits offered by the organization.
