Under the direction of Education Department Punjab Sports and District Education Officer Secondary Education Shiv Pal Goyal and Deputy District Education Officer Secondary Education Iqbal Singh Buttar, the fourth phase of 67 Viya District School Warm Season Games started at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sports Stadium Bathinda.
Speaking on this occasion, today's chief guest Jatinder Singh Bhalla, Chairman Improvemat Trust Bathinda said that these school players will shine the name of the country and the state by honing their skills in the sports fields.
Deputy District Education Officer, Secondary Education, Iqbal Singh Buttar encouraged the players who arrived at the sports ground and encouraged them to participate in the games in a better way keeping in mind the rules of the game. And today's sports competitions were presided over by Jasveer Singh Gill, District Sports Coordinator.
Giving information about these sports competitions, Jasvir Singh Gill District Sports Coordinator said that in the fourth phase of these games, Judo under 14 boys and girls are being held at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Stadium Bathinda and Badminton under 17 and 19 boys at Millennium School Bathinda. Nodal Officers Kulwinder Singh Kataria Head Teacher, Sanjeev Kumar Head Teacher and Conveners Surinder Singla and Gulshan Kumar have been appointed for these sports competitions.
Apart from others, District Sports Officer Parminder Singh, Gurinder Singh Phili, Gurmeet Singh Mann, Harbinder Singh Neeta, Pushpinder Pal Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Gurjit Singh, Avinash Kumari, Manjit Kaur, Balraj Kaur, Nirmal Singh were present on this occasion.
