Ramachandra Rao, Judge, the Hon’ble Punjab & Haryana High Court -cum- Executive Chairman, Punjab State Legal Services Authority, SAS Nagar and the Hon’ble Ms. Justice Jai Shree Thakur, Judge Hon’ble Punjab & Haryana High Court -cum- Administrative Judge, Sessions Division, Sangrur and under the guidance of Sh. R.S. Rai, Ld. District & Sessions Judge -cum- Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Sangrur and Sh. Arun Gupta, Member Secretary, Punjab State Legal Services Authority, SAS Nagar, District Legal Services Authority, Sangrur hold Mega Camp Court at District Jail, Sangrur and Sub-Jail, Malerkotla.
This Camp Court was held by Sh. P.S. Kaleka, PCS, CJM/Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Sangrur in both District Jail, Sangrur and Sub-Jail, Malerkotla and in a single day 67 cases were disposed of involving 77 undertrial prisoners involved in petty offences. All the said cases were disposed of on the same day in Mega Camp Court.
