Haryana Government approves the Construction of New Road on the Land of Abandoned Kulasi Link Drain in Jhajjar District

Haryana Government approves the construction of a new road on the land of the abandoned Kulasi Link Drain in Jhajjar District with an estimated cost of Rs. 9.97 crore. Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal gave administrative sanction for the construction of a new road project here today.

 

Giving more information in this regard, an official spokesperson stated that the proposed road spans from RD 0.00 to 5.400 km is a crucial infrastructure project aimed at enhancing connectivity in the region.

 

The spokesperson informed that the proposed road, with a total length of 5.183 km, has been verified to connect seamlessly with the MDR-138 (Bahadurgarh-Nahra-Nahri Road) on one side and the (Sankhol-Barahi Road) on the other side. Additionally, the road intersects with the proposed Northern Bypass at approximately 1.00 km from Sankhol-Barahi Road.

 

 

He further said that the site was meticulously inspected by the Executive Engineer, Provincial Division PWD (B&R) Br. Bahadurgarh, along with the Sub-Divisional Engineer/Junior Engineer in charge and Junior Engineer from the Irrigation Department. The inspection, conducted in the presence of local villagers, confirmed that there is no encroachment on the land of the abandoned Kulasi Link Drain.

 

This infrastructure initiative aligns with the government's commitment to enhancing connectivity, facilitating regional development, and ensuring the overall progress of Jhajjar District. The Haryana Government looks forward to the timely commencement and successful completion of this vital project, he added.
