Government prioritizes safeguarding rights of the poor, CM

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that safeguarding the rights of the poor is paramount for the state government. The government has identified poor families through the PPP, an umbrella scheme of the government. Dedicated efforts are being made to ensure the reach of every welfare scheme at the doorsteps of every beneficiary. The state government is working towards strengthening the infrastructural development and character building, said Sh. Manohar Lal while speaking at a program organized in Rohtak district.

He said that the government has transformed the old systems in the state. Powers have been delegated to various departments to carry out public welfare works in a timely manner, and a transparent system. The state government is working with the motto of ‘Haryana Ek-Haryanvi Ek’ to ensure the holistic development of the State.

The Chief Minister said that he has donated his ancestral home to create an e-library for the society, and he has also donated one acre of land out of his three-acre share. The government has established 1000 e-libraries in the state, and more e-libraries are being set up in every village to facilitate the youth. The state government's policy of providing jobs based on merit has instilled confidence in the youth for education, he said.

Sh. Manohar Lal stated that there has been significant change in governance at the center and state levels since 2014. Under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, India will emerge as the world's third-largest economic power in the next 5 years. The Prime Minister has adopted a vision of supporting good deeds and opposing wrongdoings while changing old ideologies.

The Chief Minister highlighted India's strength in the global arena, especially in bringing back thousands of Indians stranded in the Russia-Ukraine war within 24 hours. He expressed pride in India's enhanced global standing and the respect for Indians abroad. The Chief Minister also expressed happiness for the inauguration of the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22, marking the manifestation of Lord Rama and the vision of Ram Rajya.

Sh. Manohar Lal said that before 2014, there were various illegal practices going on under the names of CLU (Change of Land Use) and licenses in Haryana. Now, the rights to all these have been handed over to the respective departments.

The Chief Minister welcomed former minister Sh. Krishan Murti Hooda, former Deputy Speaker of Vidhan Sabha, Sh. Azaad Mohammad, former Kabaddi captain Sh. Deepak Hooda, Boxer Sweety Boora and supporters who joined the BJP today.

In the program, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Sh. J.P. Dalal said that under the leadership of Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, the state government is purchasing 14 crops from farmers at the Minimum Support Price, the highest in the country, making farmers prosperous. The highest price is being paid for sugarcane, and even bajra is being purchased at a higher price than neighboring states. The budget for agriculture and irrigation has been increased fivefold by the state government.

Member of Parliament and the BJP State President, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that as a result of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi's welfare policies, there is a new enthusiasm and zeal visible among the people. Due to the outcomes of the Double Engine government's policies, water has reached the tail end. Government jobs are being provided on a merit basis. The welfare policies of the state government have strengthened the trust of farmers, women, laborers, and every section of society in the government. The vision of Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal is to ensure that the benefits of the schemes reach at the grassroot level.
