Haryana CM approves 12 new projects under Rural Augmentation & Urban Water, Sewerage and Storm Water-State Plan worth Rs. 50 crores

Haryana Government has decided to implement 12 new projects worth more than Rs. 50 crore under Rural Augmentation & Urban Water, Sewerage and Storm Water-State Plan in 6 districts namely Gurugram, Sonipat, Rohtak, Rewari, Jhajjar, and Mahendragarh. 
 
Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today accorded administrative approval for these projects to be implemented by the Public Health Engineering Department here today. 
 
Giving more information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that new works under Urban Water, Sewerage and Storm Water-State Plan include laying of balance distribution pipe line, replacement of existing AC damaged pipe line and repair of existing Connections, in various streets of Jhajjar Town at an estimated cost of Rs. 2.91 crore, Laying of DI Pipe line in Balance area of Narnaul Town Distt. Mahendragarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 24.37 lakh, Laying of sewer line in balance approved area of bawal town, District Rewari at an estimated cost of Rs. 16.53 crore, Supply of Power Bucket Type Sewer cleaning machine, & Supply of Metal Detector machine for searching of unseened manhole cover on Highways and Town areas sewer line in Meham Town Distt. Rohtak at an estimated cost of Rs. 20.69 lakh, Supply of combined high-pressure jetting cum suction (Vacuum) type Hydraulically Operated Sewer Cleaning Machine (10000 Ltrs.) for Meham Town Distt. Rohtak at an estimated cost of Rs. 46.48 lakh, Supply of Power Bucket Type Sewer cleaning machine in Sampla Town Distt. Rohtak at an estimated cost of Rs. 18.08 lakh, Estimate for 1 supply of combined high pressure jetting cum suction (Vacuum) type Hydraulically Operated Sewer Cleaning Machine (10000 Ltrs.) for Sampla Town Distt. Rohtak at an estimated cost of Rs. 46.48 lakh, Construction of new sewage treatment plant of 6 MLD capacity based on SBR Technology at the site of old existing STP in Sohna Town under PHED Sohna, Distt. Gurugram at an estimated cost of Rs. 6.94 crore, Estimate for Special Repair/ Strengthening using CIPP liner of Storm Water line on Gohana Road near Radha Soami Ashram, Rohtak Town at an estimated cost of Rs. 4.79 crore.
 
The spokesperson further informed regarding the works which were given administrative sanction under Rural Augmentation Water Supply Programme which include Renovation and upgradation of independent water works for 2 villages Ashrafpur Matindu and Chhinoli, construction of new booster at Chhinoli, replacement of old demaged and undersized PVC and AC pipelines, shifting of functional household tap connection in 02 villages Ashrafpur Matindu and Chhinoli, District Sonipat at the cost of Rs. 5.47 crore, Renovation and upgradation of water works Mandora, construction of boosting station villages Mandora and distribution pipe line in balance street in village Mandora and Mandori, District Sonipat at the cost of Rs. 5.60 crore, Augmentation of water supply scheme Sisana-I by providing raw water through pumping, laying rising main line, construction of 1.00 MLD WTP at water works and laying the distribution pipe line in village Sisana-I and II, District Sonipat at an estimated cost of Rs. 6.16 crore.
